Don’t Skip Breakfast
While your nerves may make you want to skip out on breakfast, DON’T! They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and this could not be more true. Not only does it provide you with a much-needed energy boost, but will also help you avoid that “hangry” feeling that we are all too familiar with.
So, ignore the butterflies and eat a substantial meal that will prepare you for the day. We recommend staying away from foods that may make you feel bloated or gassy—such as bacon or sausage. It is also a good idea to pack a bag of goodies for yourself to snack on throughout the day. Clean and easy foods such as crackers or bananas will be perfect, but don’t be afraid to also pack your guilty pleasures—it’s your wedding day, treat yourself!
Jam Out to Your Favorite Playlist!

Music is the one thing that can put anyone in a good mood. We suggest that you customize your personal playlist, put it on loop, and jam out to your favorite tunes while getting glammed up! Listening to your favorite Beyoncé song with your girlfriends will be sure to put a smile on your face!
Have an Emergency Bag
Accidents happen, and it's better to be prepared for them than not! Having a little emergency kit will give you peace of mind that you will be able to tackle any little problem head on. Here are some items we recommend having on hand for if/when an “oops” moment occurs:
Scissors
Plasters (Band-Aids)
Shoe pads
Pain killers
Sewing kit
Deodorant
Spare toothbrush & paste
Feminine hygiene products
Baby wipes
Powder
Laundry detergent stick
Plan for Extra Time
Creating and sticking to a detailed schedule may be a good idea for you and your bridal party. Schedules help ensure that everything gets done and that everything is on time. However, the last thing you want is for your morning to be rushed and jam-packed. Plan it out—the necessary tasks and the fun ones.
Include time for you to enjoy breakfast and champagne, time for you to get all glammed up, and time for those all-important photos. Your wedding morning should be filled with fun events such as these, however make sure you have a set “cut-off” time to leave for the ceremony—you wouldn’t want to keep your guests waiting too long!

Even though a schedule can help avoid chaos throughout the morning, leave some room for spontaneity in your day! Unplanned moments often lead to the most unforgettable memories.
Don’t Stress About the Weather
You can’t change the weather, so why stress? Whether mother nature brings rain, snow, sunshine, or hail... your wedding day will still be one of the best of your life! Make sure to have an umbrella packed if precipitation is in the forecast. Also, ensure that you have back up plan for your outdoor spaces if weather ends up heading south.
Put Your Phone Away
Sneak some selfies in during the morning, but make sure to put your phone away after. With a million notifications popping up on your screen constantly, your phone can quickly turn into a stress inducer. Leave it to your wedding planner to deal with last minute communications, and just enjoy your day!
Treat Yourself!
Aziz Ansari said it best, "treat yo self!" It’s your wedding day, don’t be afraid to give yourself some extra TLC! Enjoy a glass of champagne while getting ready, or dig into that delicious cupcake you’ve been eyeing up all morning. It’s your day... calories don’t count ;)
You deserve some R&R before, on, and especially after your wedding day. Consider scheduling a massage to work out your knots, or a facial to destress. You’ve put a lot of work into making your big day amazing, make sure you give yourself just as much attention.
